Ventilation
In the home, if you want to provide a little Ventilation into a specific room, you will more than likely open a window or door, to let in fresh air from the outside. How many times have you left your bedroom window open during the summer months to try to cool the room as you sleep at night? In areas like bathrooms, Ventilation will be required after you have taken a hot bath or steamy shower in the morning. As the room fills with steam the area will feel humid and you can quickly clear the interior by opening a window or using an extractor fan. Kitchens are other areas where steam can build up quite rapidly as food is prepared for a number of meals. Sometimes the direct approach might be required and a door might have to be opened in order to adequately vent to the room. Extractor hoods are items of Ventilation equipment that can be used in kitchens and they will help to remove cooking smells and the excess steam that builds up over the cooking area. In commercial settings comprehensive types of Ventilation might be required if an excess of humidity builds up quickly inside a working environment.
